Camden Is Cleared To Go Home

Mom and Camden are getting ready for the ride home. It has been quite the 48 hours since Camden was born. He has met so many new people and learned a lot of new stuff. Mom and Dad are looking forward to spending the rest of their lives with this little guy.

We needed one last thing before making the big journey, the pacifier. I'll never leave home without it.

I'm ready to go!!!

Camden's Family and Friends Come To Visit At The Hospital

We want to thank all of our family and friends for sharing this special moment with us. We are very blessed and thankful to have such wonderful people in our lives. I'm sorry if I missed a photo op with Camden and the friends and family that visited. This just means you have to visit again in the near future. Our door is always open. God Bless!

Camden Paul Has Arrived!

Proud parents of Camden Paul Meyers! Camden was born into this world March 28th, 2008 at 11:26pm. He weighed 8lb. 9oz. and was 22.5" long. We are so blessed to have such a healthy baby boy!

Camden was looking for some food right out of the womb.

Camden is puckering up for the camera. He's not photo shy.
Or has he already seen the Michael Jordan posters that used to hang on Dad's walls?

Dad is thrilled to have the little guy finally here. All he wanted was to have a beautiful healthy baby and feels blessed to have received it. Camden is truly a miracle.

Grandma Stauffer and Shannon's sister Danae were a gift from above during delivery. They helped Shannon push through the contractions, which helped her only having to push for a half hour.

Gettin' Ready To Push

Oh how fast things move! The nurse just dropped a fast one on us. She says she'll be pushing within the hour! Shannon goes from being 4cm a little bit ago to 8 to 9cm here at 9:30. We're shocked! Here she is getting ready.

Preparing For Birth

Shannon is hanging out in the delivery room waiting for our bundle of joy to arrive. She even has her niece Brielle with her to help encourage her along. At 6:30pm, Shannon is 4cm dilated and 90% effaced. I'm thinking we are in for a long night :) -Luke

Here is Shannon's monitor and chart. Baby is holding steady at 125 beats per minute until mom starts pushing on him with her contractions, then I get my heart rate up to 145 bpm. -Luke
