First Day of School!

Camden started school yesterday and loved it! He was excited to go and acted like he knew exactly what he was doing...wasn't nervous a bit. He has a few friends from last year in his class which he was happy about! So cute, and growing up so quickly! He was excited to carry his Mickey backpack again this year!

Suckers & Swings (in a diaper)

I got some cute pictures of Cohen the other weekend on the neighbors swingset (soon to be ours!), but for some reason he is only in his diaper. I'm sure I caught him in the water table, neighbors bird bath or a fountain and stripped him down.

He would not give up the sucker...kinda dangerous I know, but I watched him closely :)

Screened in Porch- Phase 1

We began the process of putting a screened in porch on a good portion of our deck this summer. Here is Camden helping Luke remove the railing around the deck.

The view before the work begins

We hired the framing and roofing to be done and Luke, with the help of his brother and a couple grandpa's, are doing the rest. The framing began the first week of August.

Luke has pretty much worked on this project every spare minute the last couple weeks and it looks awesome! I am always amazed at how much he knows and how handy he is!
This opening is for the screen door which he is putting in as I type.

The view from inside...we moved some of the furniture in this weekend because Luke had gotten it all screened and we were able to enjoy the past two nights sitting outside!

Here he is today putting the trim on...there was a ton of cutting and painting to do before this was able to go on!

Walking in the Rain

The boys enjoy going on a walk in the evening, so Sunday we headed out for a stroll.

We had to head home quick because the rain started coming and it came fast!

When we got home Camden decided to get his umbrella out and play in the rain!

Cohen could've cared less about getting wet...he was having fun throwing rocks in the water table!

Back to School...

I'm feeling sad today because today marks the last day of my summer vacation with my boys. :(

We have had so much fun together and it's hard to imagine that coming to an end. I'm going to miss these two faces so much and tomorrow will be very hard for me...

Staying Cool

A couple weeks ago we went to Uncle Paul and Aunt Cheri's house to play with our cousins. We set up the bouncy slide and the kids had so much fun!

For the past few weeks Camden has been playing soccer with the Parks and Rec League. He really seems to like it and has learned a lot.
