Surgery Update

Camden's surgery went as planned on Monday morning. He was in a great mood on the drive there, pointing out trucks and school buses the whole way. Once we hit the waiting room he started saying "Bye Bye". He knows all too well what those offices are about! It was a very short procedure and the doctor talked to us briefly afterwards saying that his ears were pretty bad. :( We got to see him as soon as he woke up, which was very quick. He was disoriented and unhappy for quite awhile. Once we got home, he got breakfast and some snuggling, and he was much better. He has been a happy camper since! We are so thankful for the prayers and know this is what our little guy needed.

Ping Pong Lovers!

One of Camden's favorite things to do at Grandpa & Grandma Meyers house is play ping pong! He has actually learned how to hit the ball...not always to someone though. His cousin Landon loves to play too. During the Colts game on Sunday, the boys decided to start a ping pong game of their own. :)

Light & Heavy

Camden and I made a trip to Sam's Club today and picked up a "BIG" box of one of his favorite snacks...Cheeto's! These have been our lifesaver snack during our shopping outings. He was in complete amazement as to how many bags there were in the box when we got home. He spent quite a lot of time checking them all out and telling me about it!

On a heavier note, Camden is scheduled to have surgery on Monday morning. He is getting tubes put into his ears to help drain the fluid that he can't seem to get rid of. Luke and I are really dreading the day, but we hope it will bring him some relief when it's all said and done. Pray for us and him...I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to hand him off to the nurses. I'll update after surgery and let you all know how he is recovering!

Renovation Helper

Luke is in the middle of a "DIY" renovation of our basement and Camden is his number 1 helper. We are trying to create more play area for kids, while also making many updates and changes. Camden is very into all the tools and thinks he knows how to use and operate all of them. :)

Firefighter Camden

Camden has been obsessed with wearing his snow boots around the house lately. Today, after he asked to have them on, he came out of the toy room with his fire hat on too.

Just a cute pic from our "girls night out" on Tuesday. All the Meyers' girls went to see the Broadway show "Cats" at the Embassy and had a great dinner at Club Soda beforehand. We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again!

Last Celebration

We had our last Christmas celebration on Friday night with Uncle Paul, Aunt Cheri and kids. They came to our house for pizza and fun!

Camden got a miniature version of the "Polar Express". It is perfect for his age and he LOVES watching the train run.
