So Much Love

Cohen is one week old today and has already had a chance to meet a lot of his cousins and friends. He is loved by so many...and the little girls in his life just love to take care of him.

His big cousin Brielle who calls him "CoCo" loves to give him kisses

David and Ariana taking turns holding him in the hospital

His oldest cousin Garrett who was very proud...and will be a great babysitter!

Camden's good buddy Taylor is very fond of Cohen too

Will taking his turn...he was super happy Cohen was a boy and said "Boys Rule! "

Big Cousin Jack who also was super excited to have another boy in the family

Brayton got his chance at holding and kissing on baby Cohen

The oldest and youngest cousins on the Meyers side (for now)...Elijah and Cohen

And quite possibly the biggest baby hog of all...Ariana :) She could literally do this all day!

There are still some cousins yet to meet...so more pictures to come!

Cohen Luke

We welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world yesterday, April 22nd at 6:46 pm. He weighed a whopping 9 lbs. 10 oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long. We are all doing wonderful. We have a lot of pictures to share, but here are just a few to get you started. :) Big Brother is doing great as well and is happy he got a "brudder!"

We Are In Labor.........

We've arrived at the hospital and Shannon is READY to have our baby.

They started the induction at 7:45am this morning and has been progressing nicely. They said she had very minor contractions when she arrived, so she was happy about that. Hopefully I'll have some more information soon. Luke

Preparing...

for Baby! Today is my official due date and I am
still pregnant! I am scheduled for induction tomorrow morning
at 7 am. It is crazy to think that we will have a new baby to bring
home this weekend! Camden has been opening up to the idea of a new
baby over the past couple months. If you ask him if he wants a brother or
sister, he often says brother, but changes his mind a lot too. We've gotten to
spend a lot of nice days with him this week and it is sad to think today is the last day
as "just the 3 of us". Big changes lie ahead, but we are ready for the adventure and can't
wait to find out what this baby is! Check the blog tomorrow as I'm sure my wonderful
hubby will keep you updated as labor progresses. :)

I caught Camden giving the baby a ride in the swing
a few weeks ago...I thought this was progress, although
he loves to really get the swing moving!

Swim Class

Camden started another round of swim class this past Saturday
at the YMCA. His buddy Carter is in the class too. He was not a fan
of the locker room so I thought it was going to be a disaster, but he loved it.
He kept saying all day, "more pool, more pool". We will be sure to take
a basketball along next week because he was definitely eyeing the hoop!

Shaving with Papa D

Aunt Lissy and Uncle Jake got me a really cool shaving set
for my birthday. I just had to try it out with Papa...my favorite shaving
partner!

Park Pics

We have been living at the park these days with
all the nice weather we've had. Over Easter weekend
we ventured to the Leo-Cedarville park to play.

Easter 2010

Camden had so much fun on Easter this year. He is now an egg hunt pro since he competed in 4 total hunts! Luke had to keep unloading his bag and scattering the eggs because he enjoyed finding them so much!
Checking out his stash
Easter Sunday, ready for church, trying to break into the Cadbury eggs!

Meyers family photo...our son the "spoiler" :(

He started feeling really good and "shooting" his eggs into his bag

He also loved shouting out the colors he found which was pretty cute

Coloring Eggs

We had our annual Easter Egg coloring night at Grandpa and Grandma Meyers this week. All the cousins were there and even the little ones got involved more this year.
It started out all nice and neat :)
Camden patiently waiting for his egg to turn yellow

"This is fun isn't it Elijah?"

"I sure think so!" Check out those hands! Poor Aunt Heather was scrubbing for days!

Camden and Landon couldn't get the eggs in and out fast enough...they really had fun!

The finished product

So proud of his egg!
