Roar!

We made a trip to the zoo this week with Aunt Molly, Aubrey, Aunt Amanda and Landon. The kids did great and we spent 3 hours there riding ponies, going on a boat ride and eating popcorn! Whenever I ask Camden what he wants to see at the zoo he says, "Roar"! Well, he got his wish on this trip!

Like Father, Like Son

When your two year old picks out a book for daddy to read and it's titled "How to Program your Heating/Cooling System", sits on daddy's lap, and actually enjoys listening to daddy read it...you know you're in trouble

Favorite book right now...(sigh)

All Kinds of Fun

We have been keeping very busy lately and having all kinds of fun. Last Friday evening we went to Friday Nights Live at Jefferson Point to listen to the band. Camden enjoyed the music, food, and the fountain :)

Cohen enjoying the music too

Saturday morning we parked ourselves on Calhoun Street and watched the Three Rivers Festival Parade. I was not sure how well Camden would do, but he seemed to enjoy it more than the rest of us. He loved the loud guns, loud firetrucks, loud drums, etc...everything loud!

Waiting for the parade to start

Enjoying a popsicle

Saturday evening we went to the Tincaps game. This was Camden's first time. He had a blast. It helped that his big cousin Garrett was there to play with him as well.

Bounce Around H20 Slide

Elijah, David and Ariana have a new water slide at their house and they invited all of the cousins over to try it out! All 10 kids were there and a couple other cousins too! The kids had a blast on the slide and all the other fun things there are to do at Uncle Paul and Aunt Cheri's house!

Climb up the rock wall and slide down into the pool!

Landon loved having squirt gun control!

Eva played on the slide as long as anyone...absolutely loved it!

Camden checking out the slide from a distance...not too sure he wants to try

But Grandma was able to get him to try the shorter slide...

and then the BIG slide too!

Time for a lunch break! What a great day!

Holiday Weekend

We stayed very busy over the Fourth of July weekend. On Saturday we went to the pond on the golf course and fed the fish. They come right up to shore and practically eat out of your hand. Camden and Will are two of a kind when it comes to this type of fun!

Will also caught a frog at the pool and Camden thought that was pretty cool too

On Sunday we went to the fireworks in Leo. It turned out to be a nice night and even Cohen enjoyed it.
Another cute picture of Luke and Cohen

Daddy and Camden before the fireworks

Camden LOVED the fireworks and sat with Garrett through them all. When they were finished he wanted "more big booms" and is already looking foward to next year's celebration!

"OOhhhh"

On Monday we had a cookout and more swimming at Grandpa and Grandma Meyers house. It was another really fun day in the sun!

2 Months

Cohen had his 2 month check up yesterday and he is growing like a champ! He weighed in at 12 lbs. 12 oz (75th percentile) and was 24 inches long (85th percentile). He started out a pound heavier than his brother did and continues to follow that trend. Camden was 11 lbs. 11 oz and 22 inches long at 2 months. He is definitely our big boy! He is really starting to follow a schedule, sleeps 10-12 hours at night and is a much happier baby the past few weeks than he was at first.

Check out that foot!

Our Boys
Camden never felt resentment toward Cohen, but wasn't all that interested in him either. He is definitely starting to enjoy him more, loves to make him smile, help burp him and play on the floor with him. It is so much fun to watch them interact and Cohen definitely follows his brother's voice!
