Christmas, Christmas, Christmas!

Wow, it has been a long week of Christmas gatherings, but it was a wonderful time as well. We actually had our first Christmas on Wednesday with GG Jo. She got Camden an adorable chair with his name on it, which I'm sure you will see in some pictures. On Christmas Eve we spent the day at my dad's house. With 7 kids, it was exciting and lots of fun!

I got a portable DVD player from Papa and Mema

Christmas Bellies

On Christmas Day it was nice to have time just the three of us...Luke, Camden and I. Camden was amazed and could hardly believe his eyes when he woke up and found this Jeep Powerwheel under the tree! He sits in it constantly and is ready for warm weather so he can ride around outside!

Checking under the hood with daddy

Reading a new book and sporting his "moose" pj's which he loves!

On Saturday we had Chritmas all day at Papa and MawMaw Stauffer's.
He got a really cool shaving set from Jaxson...trying out the hair dryer! This is the perfect gift f0r our little man because anything sharp (scissors, razors, etc) that he can get his hands on makes him grin! Now he has his own safe set of tools!

One of his other favorite things...his new tricycle. It is the perfect size for him and he loves riding it around the house.

He also got a cool train table that him and Brielle loved playing with

On Sunday we spent the day at Grandpa & Grandma Meyers house with all 9 of the cousins! It is always such a good time with them.

Check out the busy room!

Our attempt at a Christmas picture...Camden was very uncooperative, but it was getting close to nap time. Still pretty cute

Singing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus

And quite possibly the biggest hit of Christmas, this train from Grandpa & Grandma Meyers. All the kids had a turn playing with it that day and Camden has played with it a ton already!

Thanks to everyone and Happy New Year! Christmas with Uncle Paul, Aunt Cheri and kids to come later this week! For now, we need a break!

The Weekend

The weekend started out with some beautiful snow! It was my first time outside this winter to play. I didn't mind bundling up and going out!

Trying out my sled with daddy

Mommy snuggling with her "babies"...just waking from a nap

I had a lot of fun helping daddy work in the garage. We built a Christmas present for Grandma & Grandpa Meyers. I LOVE using the drill, hammer, or anything that I can pound!

I thought this project needed some love, so I made this a cutsom build for G&G Meyers with my special marks!

On Sunday we had a kid's gift exchange with two of Camden's friends, Taylor and Carter. Taylor and Camden really enjoyed opening the gifts and acted like they knew what they were supposed to do!

Thanks for the nerf hoop Carter...I love it!!!!

Amazing

Wednesday was a big day for us. We had our ultrasound and were very anxious to see how things were going. I saw a different doctor for this appointment, one who deals with high risk pregnancies, because I am on an anti-seizure medication. My doctor wanted him to take a close look at the baby and how it is developing. We were thrilled, relieved and overwhelmed with amazement at our little one. Even though this is the second time through this, we were still in awe at the pictures, movements, etc that we could see. Our ultrasound tech was picture happy so we got a ton of good shots to share. Things look awesome and I do not have to see the high risk doctor again! The doctor and tech kept commenting on how much the baby was moving! I sure am feeling the movement and kicks daily now! Enjoy...and no, there were no sneak peeks at the gender and no silly nurses to give it away this time. Enjoy the anticipation until April!

3D picture of the face...not much fat to it. Only weighs 1lb 2 oz.

Long legs and big feet...shocker!

All balled up and hiding its face

Arms up beside the head...reminds me of Camden

A smile for you until we meet in April! :)

Cookie Decorating

Aunt Nae Nae and Brielle were in town for a couple days to make Christmas cookies with us. The kids helped decorate some of them too.

Eating pizza at the island at Grandma's

Daddy stopped by for lunch so he helped me decorate

Both kids loved the sprinkles!

Really concentrating!

Visit from Santa

Santa made a visit to our house today. He came around on his firetruck and I got to have my picture taken with him.

"Who did you say is coming to see me on his firetruck?"

Waiting for Santa

Here he comes!

And shocker....Camden is not a big fan of Santa.
So, mommy and daddy made the annual pic this year!

Bye Santa...thanks for stopping...I really liked your firetruck!

Real Deal

Daddy was going for a haircut today, so mommy and I went along so that I could get a haircut too. It was all fine until they put me in that chair! Wow, the real deal haircut is no fun! Doug did a great job and I loved all the candy he gave me, but I am okay if I never have to do that again!

Even the paci didn't save the day!

Apparently big boy haircuts make you ready for a big boy chair. I was boycotting the highchair tonight and wanted to do it all by myself at the table. :)

Fun with Cousins!

Luke and I got to babysit Elijah, David and Ariana last night while Uncle Paul and Aunt Cheri went to dinner. Camden had so much fun playing with his cousins!
Ariana on the slide
Long line for the slide...they all did this for awhile!

They did a lot of dancing too...Camden is working on a new move!
We also enjoyed pizza...thanks Aunt Cheri!
