This past week our family lost someone very dear and special to us. Luke's Grandpa Meyers passed away on Monday, June 29th. We will forever cherish our last days and the moments we were able to spend with him. All of the family was together and he was thankful for that. This July 4th holiday not only are we mourning his death, but we are celebrating what he did for our country. He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corp. He was a waist gunner on a B 24 Liberator and he completed 35 missions over Germany. We love him so dearly and are so thankful for his dedication and bravery.
